LA RESERVE

Indisputably one of Praslin’s most distinguished hotels:

Located on its own secluded cove on Praslin’s north-west coast, bordering Curieuse Marine Park, La Reserve, recently reopened after a major refurbishment with new luxury colonial style villas scattered among tropical gardens and exotic vegetation, and is now indisputably one of Praslin’s most distinguished hotels.  The beautiful Jetty Restaurant is an attractive and romantic centrepiece of the hotel and features superb international, Creole and Chinese cuisine, drawing on the many different cultures and tastes to be found in the Seychelles, with more casual dining found by the lovely pool.  The property’s setting and ambience contribute to making this a romantic hideaway with personalised service or great for families who love nature.

A particular Creole ambience pervades throughout:

Set in a 200 acre estate of beautiful landscaped gardens, La Reserve provides individually decorated rooms all giving a particular Creole feel.  Eight Superior Rooms are placed in either of the two colonial style buildings, one on the hillside, the other directly on the beach.  Thirty-two new Deluxe Rooms, all on the beach, are beautifully designed with an abundance of space and extensive bathrooms with sunken bath and walk-in shower.  All rooms feature king-size four-poster bed, air-conditioning, mini-bar, coffee/tea-making facilities, bath (Deluxe Rooms only), shower, satellite television, safe and hairdryer.

The most memorable dining experience in all of the Seychelles:

The Jetty Restaurant, one of the most memorable dinner experiences in all of the Seychelles.  Guests watch the lights of anchored yachts in the bay and the natural aquarium of the jostling fish below and listen to the sound of gentle waves lapping on to the shore as the Chef creates delectable dishes from freshly caught fish.  The Jetty Restaurant offers Creole barbecue rich in spices to a wide ranging international menu from an open kitchen.  The Pool Grill Restaurant, located by the magnificent pool, serves an à la carte lunch only; fresh fish or expertly grilled meat.

Surrounded by coconut palms and wrapped by one of the largest swimming pools in the islands, guests can swim up to the William’s Pool Bar for that freshly squeezed fruit drink or alcoholic cocktail or simply order from their chaise longue.  Absolute bliss!

For the more energetic, if you are one of those people who like to keep in trim whilst on holiday, La Reserve has a well equipped and private gym ideal for your use.  The secluded Anse Petite Cour bay offers good snorkelling throughout the year.  All equipment is available free of charge.  Scuba diving courses can be arranged together with deep sea fishing.  Reserve guests can enjoy an 18-hole championship golf course on Praslin.  Just 25 minutes from the hotel, the course boasts some very challenging holes and beautiful scenic views.
